Regatta brings campus spirit afloat

IU Indianapolis community gathers on the canal for 17th annual event

The downtown canal came alive on Saturday, Sept. 27, as students, employees, alumni, and families gathered for the 17th annual IU Indianapolis Regatta. While teams battled it out in the canoe races, the celebration spilled into Military Park with music, food, games and performances. What began as a single-day race has grown into a weeklong tradition that unites the campus and community in Jaguar spirit.
